Floor Manager / Co-ordinator
Job Summary:
The Floor Manager/Coordinator at Eye Mantra will oversee the smooth operation of the hospital floor on a daily basis, ensuring efficient patient flow, coordinating with various departments, and upholding high standards of patient care and service. This role demands excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Floor Operations Management:
- Supervise the daily operations on the hospital floor, ensuring smooth patient movement and efficient workflow.
- Ensure cleanliness, organization, and adherence to hospital protocols and safety standards.
- Coordinate with reception, nursing staff, and doctors to ensure timely patient check-ups and procedures.
Patient Handling & Service Excellence:
- Facilitate a seamless patient experience from entry to discharge.
- Address patient concerns and grievances promptly, escalating as necessary.
- Assist patients with counseling on appointments, follow-ups, and procedures to ensure clarity and comfort.
Staff Coordination & Supervision:
- Supervise and guide front desk executives, housekeeping, and support staff.
- Ensure all staff comply with hospital policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Conduct daily briefings and assign tasks to ensure efficient operations.
Coordination with Medical & Non-Medical Departments:
- Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other departments to ensure smooth patient care.
- Ensure that medical equipment and materials are available, in good condition, and ready for use.
- Work closely with the pharmacy, diagnostic labs, and insurance teams to facilitate coordinated care.
Reporting & Documentation:
- Keep accurate records of daily patient visits, appointments, and any escalations.
- Prepare daily and weekly reports for management to review operational performance.
- Ensure documentation complies with hospital standards and regulatory requirements.
Emergency Handling:
- Respond promptly and effectively to any medical or operational emergencies on the floor.
- Ensure emergency protocols are followed to maintain patient and staff safety.
Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in a hospital, clinic, or healthcare setting in a similar role.
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations effectively.
- Proficiency in hospital management software and Microsoft Office.
