Key Responsibilities:

• Assist senior optometrists in performing thorough eye exams and assessments.
• Conduct preliminary vision tests, including refraction, visual acuity checks, and tonometry.
• Support in diagnosing and managing common ocular conditions under supervision.
• Educate patients on eye care practices, correct use of contact lenses, and vision therapy.
• Assist in fitting and dispensing corrective lenses and contact lenses as part of patient care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, contributing to clinical documentation.
• Participate in research activities, case discussions, and clinical training sessions to enhance learning.
• Collaborate with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Optometry.
• Solid understanding of fundamental optometry concepts and clinical practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting and adapt to varying patient needs.
